Michael and Thomas Roxburgh – Men’s First Team Coaches
VUWAFC are delighted to announce the signings of Michael Roxburgh and Thomas Roxburgh – our new mens first team coach and assistant/GK coach for 2022.
Michael can’t wait to get started and says “I’m looking forward to working with the players, playing good football and enjoying the game”
Preseason training starts on Wednesday 26th of January, 8pm at Boyd Wilson. Regular sessions will be held on Monday and Wednesday, 8pm at Boyd Wilson.

Alex Austen – Women’s First Team Coach
We are delighted to announce the signing of Alex Austen as our new W-League head coach for the 2022 season.
Alex comes to VUWAFC with a wealth of experience and knowledge, currently holding an OFC/NZF C licence and in the process of completing his B licence.
Alex is looking forward to the challenge ahead and says “I am excited to join VUWAFC and the fantastic players in the W-League squad. I want to build on the current foundations so we can become an exciting team! Let the fun begin!”
Preseason training starts on Tuesday 25th of January, 8pm at Boyd Wilson. Regular sessions will be held on Tuesday and Thursday, 8pm at Boyd Wilson.
